The Australian Lowline was introduced into the United States in 1997 and underwent a breed name change to American Aberdeen in 2017.  American Aberdeen cattle are naturally quiet-tempered, easy-to-raise animals.  They are an extremely efficient range animal that produces a high quality meat product, and are well suited for both small acreage and larger cattle operations.
